Prince Rupert

Prince Rupert is a port city located on Kaien Island on British Columbia’s North Coast. Prince Rupert is the the land, air, and water transportation hub of Northern British Columbia. The city is also served by a ferry and has 7 local bus routes which provide access to all sections of the city.

Guidelines and Standards | 2017

Complete Streets for Prince Rupert, a local volunteer group, has created a presentation advocating for the implementation of Complete Streets in their city. The presentation is aimed at city officials, policy makers, and residents to showcase the improved safety, health, and sustainability benefits that Complete Streets designs provide while displaying examples of Complete Street makeovers in similar sized cities. Additionally, the Complete Streets for Prince Rupert organization has been endorsed by Northern Health for the health benefits that Complete Streets provide.
